Favorite Little Kitchen Utensil

I have one that looks just like it, but i hardly ever use it. I really like my toaster oven, I use it more now then my regular oven.

I have a mini chopper like the one you posted a picture of. I use mine strictly for chopping pecans for the toffee and cookies that I make. I should get another one for other foods too. I really like it. MY favorite kitchen gadget would have to be my hand mixer. I use it all the time.

I like my apple slicer. If I come across the last apple and more than one child wants it, this can solve the problem nicely. No arguing about so in so's piece is bigger than mine. It can be a peacemaker.

I have the gadgets that you accumulate with the years but I don't cook that much anymore since it is just the two of us and we are gone almost all of the time.. I haven't used many of my gadgets in over a year now since my son married and moved out.. My husband and I eat out a lot, it is cheaper since it is just the two of us and we get the senior discount now.. I do although have one of those seen on tv gadgets which does the chopping for me and I use it when I am doing my holiday cooking.. It is great with onions and you hardly ever cry when using it..

Hi Chevee, I don't posess any little electric gadgets in my kitchen, all I have is ol fashion can opener and don't a blender or mixer or anything like that, I have to do everything by hand , sad arent't I? hehe. Love & Hugs. Tamara

I dont have a lot of my own kitchen utensils because I havnt moved out yet, just a couple things I got free or cheap for my hope chest... but I have one I want so badly. Its going on My christmas list this year... and thats a pastry blender, this ones old fashioned, not what you think, its not motorized and you dont plug it into a wall, its kind of horse shoe shaped with a handle, with hard metal rungs, and I would use it to quickly chop butter with out the mess of a food processer, I would love that, to chop butter quickly for biscuits :D always hated that part of making biscuits O.o

My best kitchen friends are my George Forman Grill, any and all sizes of crockpots, and a stick blender that will also run a food processing blade in a cup. I cook for two, and these are great work savers for me.

i have a small chopper that is electric. i use it alot. also have a big processsor but don't use it as much. i have a slotted spoon that was my grandmother's that i use a lot.
