Amsterdam or Mexico ?

Allow me to explain: I'm quite enthusiastic about psychoactive plants, specifically psychedelics. Since in my country the laws and regulations on most are quite restrictive (like in most of the world) I'm considering at some point in the future, moving to either Amsterdam, or maybe all the way to Mexico.
I'm interested in Salvia Divinorum, Peyote cactus, Psilocybin mushrooms and Ayahuasca potion. Of course not all of them are legal in any of these 2 parts of the world, but more are legal there, than here in Romania, where I live now.
So is anyone from these places ? Have you been there ? Which of the 2 would you recommend ?
Peace :)

I have been to both places, and I would choose Amsterdam if I had to. Mexico is too hot for me, but since you are into Peyote that might be a good place for you to investigate.
I have been on a quest for the last 10 or 15 years to find a place to call home where I can grow for my own use without the threat of being taken to jail for it. I also want the place to have only warm, balmy days and cool nights... no winters or summers please. And I want to be surrounded by nature. I also would prefer cool neighbors who mind their own business, convenient shopping, and internet access near a cheerful, modern (and colorful) town. It is starting to look like I am going to have to expand my search to other planets.

If looking to search on other planets, then might I recommend some extra Salvia in your smoking routine ? It gives really astounding mileage :D
I've just seen that movie Blueberry a few days ago, all those american desert settings, and indian rituals and peyote visuals made me pretty restless and eager to pick up and go. It's not time yet though, for reasons unknown I keep wasting time on various things, rather than advance with my main solid plan. Looking for some more stability, to help me stay on track. in fact I'll hit a few minutes of meditation right now, if it works for you maybe it works for me as well. Peace :)

I have been wanting to try Salvia for quite a while now, I just have not come across any seeds.
I have not heard of the movie Blueberry until just now... I will have to check it out, it sounds interesting!
I recently came across a definition of 'procrastination' that makes absolute sense to me. Procrastination means you are not ready to do it yet! Personally, I get the best results if I do not act until I am inspired to act. If I force myself to act before I am inspired, because I am fearing the results of not acting, it almost always turns out to be a less than thrilling experience. Sometimes even downright regretful! And when I allow myself to procrastinate until I am inspired then invariably I end up in with excellent reasons to say "Oh man, thank god I procrastinated!"
