Yes, it is true.
PBS is doing an online poll asking if Sarah Palin is qualified to be Vice President. Rumor has it PBS gave advance knowledge to liberal groups so as to stack the results against Palin. Well, nuts to that. Click this link and vote for Sarah, please.

I say that Sarah Palin is qualified to be VP.
What do you say?

I did the PBS Poll. and I will be doing early voting on Thurs. I do not trust Fl. polling and I think you stand a better chance at the early polling than at the regular Nov. 4th date. It is a crapshoot every year down here.
PBS is a trip. I am glad that I stopped supporting them years ago. It was for another reason, but it still works. They are not the only station stacking the dice.

Hello Red,
How absurd is it if there's any truth to the charge that PBS is attempting to stack its own poll???
I tell ya', sometimes I think that I took the 'Red Pill', and find myself wishing that I had taken the 'Blue Pill'. Or, that I've fallen down the 'Rabbit Hole'.
Anyway, I like Saracuda! I look forward to her national political career. Regardless of what happens on 11/4, I don't think the Governor is going to give in to those who denigrate her as "Caribou Barbie". In fact, I expect her to make alot of waves with the status quo -- and that's what I most want elected representatives to do at this time in history. Washington is broken, and giving control over the Pelosi-Reid-Obama is unlikely to usher in any change that I would consider positive. In fact, I'd like to see a whole lot more Saracuda's enter public office!
Incidentally, have you heard about the effort to urge Joe the Plumber to run for Congress?

Thanks, for the correct link. I copied the link after I got my results after voting. Apparently you can't go direct there. OOPS.
Saracuda is the kind of politician we actually expect but don't usually get. I have no idea what is wrong with the people who don't respect her.
I had not heard about Joe the Plumber running, but heck yes, let him run. He'll win.

Hello Red,
To the best of my knowledge Joe the Plumber has made no statement about the effort to convince him to run. I certainly hope that he can be convinced. I've watched every interview that he's given. He's smart, poignant, sincere, good with people and in front of the camera! That's a far cry more qualified than many on The Hill today!
In fact, there are a couple hundred thousand people from my state who are calling for a Senators head today because of his incredibly stupid remarks on a local talk radio show. I suspect that far too many people overestimate the wisdom of our elected representatives.
Sorry, I digress!

"I suspect that far too many people overestimate the wisdom of our elected representatives."
Since a discussion we had about this topic some time ago, I've been paying closer attention. I may have been one of those who everestimated the wisdom and intelligence of our elected officials.

I am still on the fence to be honest RYBD. There are many things I do like about Palin and she certainly has an aura of likability about her but whether she has the mettle to make it has yet to be seen. The same could be said about Obama to a degree as well so it is one of those elections that I am extremely grateful for NOT having to vote in! It wouldn't surprise me if that rumour about PBS leaking the news of this poll is true either. When it comes to media and their back-end connections anything is possible.

I'm glad to see even more people are coming to not trust the media. This is a good thing.

The link did not work. I like her. I think she has paid her dues and deserves the credit.Whats wrong with a woman being strong and intelligent and proving she can get the work done.Good for her and yes, Ill vote for her.! She is tough and smart and I have no doubts about making her as vice president antytime!

Thanks for posting this dog. It has been up since mid September and I had not heard of it. So if they were stacking votes it still isn't working She is leading 50/49 w/1% not sure. Originally they were allowing people to vote as much as they want. But once Sarah got to 50% they added cookies so that you only get one vote now. How Conveeeeeeeeeeenient.

I totally agree. Particularily, I like the role she has played in fighting corruption in Alaska. Who thinks we don't need that in the nation's capital?

Currently the poll is showing 50% yes Sarah is qualified, 48% no she is not qualified, and 0% not sure, I am not sure about that math. Sarah is just as qualified to be Vice-President as Obama is qualified to be President. How can anyone say that Obama is qualified yet Sarah is not?

I'm starting to think anyone who has been elected a Governor of a state is qualified and no one who has been elected Senator less than twice is not.

Bad link... The fact is that Palin has more executive experience than 0bama, Biden, or McCain... therefore she is more qualified to be president than 0bama is, and more qualified to be VP than Biden is.

I think you better check out what the Anchorage Daily News has to say about Sarah Palin, before you cast your ballot!
