How do you cope up with shock of loosing money?

In this financial volitile market many has lost money, billioniars loosing few thousnd not a big matter. But the people with little savings, invested part or and lost all, it is something unbearable.
I am victim of the financial crisis myself. How do you cope up with huge financial losses?
