Have you ever lost faith in the referral thing?

I have probably joined a lot of online stuff going around and specially if it's like getting referrals. I get stuck there. I've gone posting here and there, signed up on a lot of free lead programs, sharing stuff, the works. You name it I've probably been there. Could I have been doing something wrong? I followed a lot of steps too you know. But either I only get a few people to join me, and more than half of those would flake, join out of respect and almost all of them would have never even bothered to build their own. That is why I think this whole referral business is very frustrating to me. Oh yeah, I remember giving my MyLot referral link to a friend and then when she got to the site to sign up she somehow may have strayed from my link and signed up under no one. I lost a referral there. Of course she hasn't even been active here and that makes me a real loser. How about you guys have you any bad referral experiences? How did you get around it? Happy MyLotting!

I'm not very good at getting referrals. I started what I thought was a quite original and attractive site to try and gain referrals, but I've come to the conclusion that it's all a matter of timing, who you know and whether they're willing to support you by staying active in different programmes. Many of them take a look, find they need to work to earn, and off they go. I have six referrals here and only one is active at the moment. She supports me without fail, but I never see the others. Nor am I having any luck signing any from what I thought was a well thought out, attractive site. I also partake in traffic exchange programmes, but money seems to evade me at all times! lol. I wish you more luck in the future my friend... Brightest Blessings.

Oh I'm deeply sorry about that. I wish that I did have a way to do it without slipping. Lol. I guess it's all about timing and keeping it there. I wish you more luck in the future Darkwing! Cheers!

There are a lot of stuff to join online, and some of them aren't just for everyone. A lot of us too are looking for those that fits us well. We have yet to find those few who will fit perfectly in the offer we invite them to. Cheers!

I have lost faith in the referral thing too. I have about ten referrals. All of them are inactive. Some of them did not even post a single message on the site. Whilte other thought that it was not for them.

Yeah, some programs are not for everyone that is why some of our referrals aren't active or would leave it.

I have a hard time getting referrals. The thing is there are so MANY legitimate opportunities to earn money from home. But when you try to tell people about it they just brush it off as a scam. I know I used to. I hope to have luck with referrals someday.

Yes I agree. Maybe our timing isn't right or we aren't around the right kind of people to get as referrals. We might be in the wrong place and at the wrong time. Thanks for your response. Cheerios!
