I have decided to buy myself a new car or at least a used one and I was wondering what route I should take in purchasing this vehicle. I have had new cars in the past as I had a Toyota Celica that I truly loved. It was candy apple red with black interior. I also had a Gremlin and that had a stick shift with posi-traction to really get into the drags. I also had a small car that was automatic and it really sucked. I don't remember the kind or make right now. I like the idea of purchasing a new car although I don't know if I want the heavy burden of making monthly payments. What do you think I should do? My suggestion to you is to get a used car that you can afford to buy out right. The way things are these days with the economy, you would be wise not to create addition debt. I am sure you can find a nice used car within your budget that would be just fine. Depending on how much you use the car it would probably be worth your while. My husband and I need another car, but we can not afford a new or even a used car. We were blessed this week, because my husband's aunt gave us her car, it is a Toyota Corella, with just 57,000 miles on it. It is an older model, but that is okay, it is in great shape and it was free. Weigh your options, I think a used one would be the better choice at this time. Good luck
