Hot apple cider

Everywhere I have been lately they have been serving hot apple cider. I went to my friends in Wisconsin last weekend and a couple of the stores gave you a little cup of it to sip on while you shopped.....on the way home I stopped at an apple orchard and also a craft barn and both places also were serving the tasty hot drink. Do you like hot apple cider? I like it better now then I did years ago and find it an nice alternative to coffee or tea.....so do you like hot apple cider?

I don't like apple cider either. I have never had it but I don't think I want to try it either. Doesn't sound very good. Sorry.

I have never tried hot apple cider. I have never been anywhere where they serve it. I think it would taste awful. It doesn't sound very good.
I don't really like apple juice either so I think that if I don't like apple juice then I would probably not like apple cider either. Is it similar in taste, maybe just hot and spicier?
I would rather drink tea or soda or just plain water. Oooohhh or hot chocolate, I love hot chocolate!

It's nice when it is cold outside. I like that it comes with a cinnamon stick. I think it is tasty. Haven't come across any yet. May have to make my own. THat would be a nice treat.

Apple cider... ummm yummy. I think is good Hot with a cinnamon stick! Very good chilled. I just love it!

Oh it definitely HAS to have a whole cinnamon stick.
Otherwise I feel it is just hot juice.

I love hot apple cider, I make it quite a lot in the winter time. I make it also at christmas time when all my family members get together. But I still like my coffee too.

I buy the jugs of apple cider and than add all my own ingredients to it

my hubby's sister owns an apple orchard and they dont sell the apples or anything but do pick them and press all the apples into cider. before you drink it, you have to boil it to get all the impurities out. we get several bags every year and well, it is easy to get tired of, but once in awhile, its nice to drink.

Hmmm you reminded me. I just love hot apple cider!!!!! I wish I could find stores that gave me free hot cider.

I love hot apple cider but it hasn't gotten cool enough yet where I live to think about buying any of it. I like sprinkling a little cinnamon in. I agree it's a great change from the coffee I usually drink. This discussion of apple cider reminds me of what fall used to feel like when we lived up north.

I seem to be the only one in my family that LOVES hot apple cider.
I love it with a whole stick of cinnamon in it as well.
I also love the freebie days at stores with food.
There's been days I've eaten a full meal basically from them.

I've never had hot apple cider, but it sounds yummy!
Does anyone have a recipie for me? I have a pile of cooking apples sitting here and don't know what to do with them.

It's been a while since I've had hot cider. Personally, I prefer chilled cider.
I've had some pretty good cider this fall. There are some local producers who make delicious cider. Hmm.... Now, I want to go buy some more.

Apple cider is really a healthy drink, i love the taste and aroma of the hot sip... it's really a must drink to keep everyone healthy. "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"
