Should putting the clock back be tampered with with?

Darkness early. - City, at night.

The clocks have just went back an hour here in the UK. Is this a good thing, or is it not. Darkness arrives an hour earlier tommorow night and it is depressing. Should we just leave the time change alone?

It can be confusing at times. But, only initially. They call it Daylight Saving Time and it means nothing to me. Cheers!!

Thank you for reply. Yes I suppose it is only at first we have a problem, but we get used to the 'clocks going back, or forward' after a week.

I think we're going back an hour again this November. We were supposed to do it this October and I think they moved it to November so I am really getting confused. I mean DST does help save energy and I guess you get more things done (?) but in my opinion, I think it also tampers with our body clock... our body just got used to the change in time months ago and now we have to go change the time again.
