There comes a point in time of life where we think about the inevitable. Since I have more than just myself to worry about, I am thinking that I had better consider finishing drawing up my will. Do you have a will? If not, eho? Sre you planning on getting one

As Nietzsche would say, when you are at the worst times, that is when you find the Will to Power. That Will to find meaning, to find truth, to find whatever brings beauty and strength in the world.

To be honest I don't have a will, fortunately my parents are still alive so if I die everything will go to them, but once they die I will have to seriously consider doing one as I have no dependents and I don't want the government getting their greedy hands on anything I have, so I will want to leave it to a charity, my chosen charity. I may die before my parents, nothing is certain, but at the moment I am happy not to worry about having one.

Thank wolfie, I appreciate your response. I find the opinions of others on this topic of interest. Personally I do not have one but must seriously consider it myself. Anything can happen. Thanks again.

I have a will made up but i keep changing my wishes, as people come and go in my life and being let down by people I just seem to be ever changing my will...it is a hard thing to do, I know I keep putting it off and making excuses to put it off but you are right it is something that must be done and kept up to date...

I don't have one yet but it's something on my list of things to do in the near future!
My husband and I have living wills. He insisted on it because he simply does not want to be on life-support and lose everything we have because of hospital costs. He definitely does not want to be a vegetable! I agreed with him so we made living wills.
Actual wills are on the top of the list because I now have so much stuff and want it to go to the right people when I die. My husband is step-father to my two sons and there are things that I own that I want to see go to my children. So, if I die before my husband, the will will ensure that my boys will get the things I've told them they can have and there will be no issue over who gets what.
It's always a good idea to have a will because you just never know when your time will be up.

You are right, we never know and is therefore important to have this in place I feel. Especially if one has family surviving them. I agree with the point about no issue over who gets what. Good for you. Thank you!

I always associate will with something which is the allocation of your wealth to your heirs. However, I was surprised that wills can be of different form. As for now, I am not making some wills of my own because I just live life based on what happens to my life.

Interesting, thank you. Yes, there are more to wills than just leaving your wealth to your heirs. I am concerned more with a living will. Just in case something should happen to me, I need to know my wishes will be granted. Furthermore, that my loved ones will be cared for.
