What are the condition of your roads in the area that you live in? In my country our roads are not that good, they are bumpy and some are in need of maintenance badly. New roads have been done but the majority of the rural roads still need to be done. What are the conditions of the road you drive in? © ronaldinu 2008

the roads over here are always being maintained. i guess they are afraid of us complaining about tax pay-ers money and stuff. *shrugs* but i always see the roads either being replaced with that black stuff (i momentarily forgot the substance for it) or the road lines / dividers are being repainted.

Our roads are in pretty okay shape unless you count back roads and the dirt/graveled roads. They black topped our road last year it was good because the dust and dirt from the road as cars drove them all day kept a person with a duster in one hand and a wiping cloth in the other.

I live in Colorado but am from Michigan. In Michigan we would redo the roads about every 5 years or so. Here, before the end of a year, our roads are a mess. Then the actual road plans are nuts! Any state that has a part of their highway called a mousetrap, you should be careful!

The transport infrastructure in Romania is miserable. Only the European and National roads are in good condition, sometimes some of the county roads too. Most of the rural roads don't even have asphalt, you drive on bare ground or stones. As of the highways... There are only two of them, less than 300 km altogether, and they always have segments out of service due to never ending maintenance... Another highway has been started: they managed to build 5 km in 4 years

They repair them often but many are still in need of repair or upgrades. Especially at the school where my grandchildren attend.

Thats how it is here, the newer roads like the state roads are all good and they keep them up, but the rural roads are bad, theres big potholes all over the place and they're bumpy, from where they've tried to patch them but it doesn't work for very long. They aren't good roads, and it can mess your car up driving on them everyday, I get tired of hitting all the holes..lol.

Ours are not bad. I have seen very bad roads in many places so I cannot complain. After winter, from freezing and thawing, is when roads are at their worst, from potholes, when they need the most work.

The roads here in this area are paved but they are very much in need of maintenance, there are pot holes in some places. One of the road I travel has a pot hole in it and if another car is coming in the opposite direction there is no way you can miss it.

The state of the roads here in the UK tend to be mostly OK. There are some potholes on minor roads here and there, but nothing really that will cause a problems -except speed humps in the road if you don't driving slowly over them. The biggest problem here is the number of vehicles for the space of road that is available and it's getting worse as more and more new drivers take the road every year.
