Do Your Kids Complement You?

Well, in my case, not very often. Or maybe I'm just not listening correctly. Anyway, my sixteen-year-old son was filling out my name tag for a church luncheon and guess what he wrote? "Hot Mama." I'll take it.

I don't have kids since I am still single. But I used to do it with my mother when I was young. For me my mother is the most beautiful lady I have seen. I really adore her. I liked to tell h er she's beautiful and sweet. And I like the way she dressed herself. She chooses dress that really made her look like a young woman. How I wish I can do that to myself also. I also complements her for taking care of us. She is really a strong woman because she is doing everything for ur future together with my father. My mother is the best as well as you Gtargirl.

Yeah, sometimes they give out their comment on my appearance. They like to compare me with their friends' mom. They told me to colour my hair or wear make up even though I am at home.

They can be sweet. It's time to get out the coloring formula for me too. It gives us a chance to play with our hair. LOL. Have a great day, Ellie.

My son does as well. Not all the time but every now and then i will be doing my hair and make-up for work or something and he will say "Mom, you look pretty" and get a grin on his face. He's only 6 and it is so cute when he does thigs like this. I think most kids do, but some do it more than others.

Oh, that's so cool! I don't remember my kids complementing me a lot, but when my youngest went into the Navy he kinda did. He thanked me for making him finish what he started and taking his responsibilities seriously. When he got to his first ship, the older guys liked him right away because he didn't just sit back and wait for everyone to tell him what to do and when to do it. He knew what he was supposed to do and asked everyone how to get it done. He took the initiative and that helped him out very quickly with the guys that'd been around for a while. I was just about crying when he thanked me.

Now that's a compliment! I compliment my mom as well, but not really that often.

Thanks D. I hope you'll compliment your mom more often as I am sure she deserves it. Have an awesome day, my friend.

My granddaughter put deebomb on my cell phone. It tells me she thinks I'm great. I have raised 2 of my grandchildren. All my kids do with birthday cards. When I go to where she works every one expects to see me so she must be telling them how great she thinks I am. I take that as a compliment too.

My girls do compliment me a fair amount and in fact yesterday my eldest was discussing something with me and said mum you are doing such a wonderful job and I am proud of you and how you have managed it all by yourself bless her. It just goes to show we are appreciated afterall eh! Huggles. Ellie :D
