Tracy Orr faced losing her home to foreclosure when Marilyn Mock, a stranger, stepped in to buy it.Stranger buys foreclosed home for woman on hard times."If it was you, you'd want somebody to stop and help you," says Marilyn Mock. Mock bought home for $30,000; says she'll work out payment deal with Tracy Orr. Orr says Mock's generosity has "given me back faith and hope to keep going.
If this doesn't renew your faith in people, what would? Angels on earth that is what I think, what about you?

That seems like an awfully big wager to make on someone else's behalf. I hope it works out for Tracy Orr and Mock. After all, Tracy was foreclosed on for a reason.. inability to pay the original loan. It seems unexpected that Mock would be repaid if the bank was having a problem with this.

I totally agree with you on that it would renew my faith in people as well because now days people have the tendency to just ignore those in need now. I am so happy that she was helped. Seems she has a new guardian angel now and I hope things work out for them both. It is rare nowadays to find such generosity in a person who would help a total complete stranger.

Marilyn Mock was an angel! It was not as if she was offering Tracy Orr a shoulder to cry on, or a cup of coffee. To actually save a stranger's home, and give it back to her makes me realize that there are still good and generous people in the world. The Bible talks about "angels unawares," and this is a good example of one. God is so good!

There are still good people in the world. Right now my husband is in Iraq and
every thing is breaking. My husband's rear command does not care to help me.
In fact I am Ignored by everyone at Fort Carson.
I was just in tears trying to pull down a broken garage door so
no one breakls into my home.
And I read this it gives me hope that all my worries will soon go away.
Seems like as soon as they deploy everything breaks.

This is an incredible story and it is good to hear.
It reminds me of the time Pedro's brother helped that boy in school when the bully was trying to take his bike. It is good to have people look after one another.
