I used to sleep so well with my boyfriend, but now sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and he is sprawled all over the bed or he is snoring really loud. I don't know why this suddenly happened. I find it so hard to go back to sleep. I love him to death, but this is pretty annoying lol. So what about you? Does your partner snore or take up too much room?

I didn't get married until I was 33 and never had a live in boyfriend. I found that I don't like to be touched when I am trying to sleep. I don't have any real reason for it, but it may be because I've always slept alone. After snuggling, lovemakeing or whatever, I just wanted him to stay on his own side of the bed. It really bothered him, but it wasn't anything personal. It wasn't even about him. It was just a personal preference. My husband passed away many years ago and I have had one live in boyfriend since and it was the same. He didn't really seem to be bothered by it though. Do you think this is strange?

No, I don't really see that as strange. Some people just don't like to be touched. I was like that when I was little. I would want to sleep with my sister or my mom, but I didn't like to be touched.

Well,I do sleep well with my husband. Though he snores sometimes when he's very tired, it's not really annoying, unless I really couldn't fall asleep at that time. I'd wake him up and told him to stop snoring.

Snoring happens when someone is having difficulty breathing. If we are not sleeping we can control our breathing but during sleep our body adjusts and snoring happens. Snoring can be controlled, I guess. My husband used to snore but now he is no longer snoring. Before this he likes to eat too much and his stomach is so big. But now he tried to cut his eating and he eats one plate of food at one sitting and not three like before. He had managed to reduce the size of his stomach and eliminate his snoring. Restless sleeping may happen when we are too tired or we are thinking about many things. Sometimes when we dream we will be restless too. Your boyfriend might be too tired and this makes him move around the bed. Be patient and discuss this with him. I believe you will be able to solve this problem in a short time.

I think that I have read people who are stressed often snore. I have always been comfortable sleeping with my fiance, even though I switch positions often in the night and at intervals may get up to take a drink, but my fiance doesn't snore nor does he move around as much as I do.

When my fiancee stays over on the weekend, sometimes he sleeps really rough because he tired from a long work week. I remember one time he slept so hard that he nearly shoved me off the edge of the bed. Boy, was I ready to let him have it lol. Another time he must have woken me up about three or four times during the night. I remember telling him the next day about that and he apologized so profusely lol.
