Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble...

I’ve always liked movies with witches and especially them standing over their cauldrons stirring a big pot of God knows what. Usually it’s got things like frogs legs, bat wings, eye of newt, spider legs and all kinds of yummy things in it. These potions are made for everything from hypnotizing ppl to outright killing them, to conjure up spirits, to make someone fall in love, to turn someone into a toad, to turn invisible…pretty much anything.
If I was going to make a potion right now, I’d make two…one for our Presidential candidates that would make them tell the truth no matter what and one to turn all the big criminals into butterflies…at least they’d be nice to look at.
What kind of potions would you make? What kind of weird things would you put in them? Would you use any on your family?

Hahaha!!, you are so funny, I am a real witch, and yes we have a cauldron and everything you say like frogs legs, bat wings eye of newt spider legs and dragon's blood all are very true execpt that ther are all types of herbs hehehe, yes they are really herbs we put in our big pot, but we don't hypnotize people peole or kill them, we leave that to the christains, we really are very nice people, now where is my broomstick I must fly. Ha Ha ehheheheeeeeeee.

I like the idea of making politicians tell the truth. Our previous Prime Minister would probably have exploded though as he seemed to believe the lies he told.
I would love to make a potion which made people value life more than money.

You can use apple cider vinegar alone with honey and clean water. You may not have bubble and bubble with miracles results, but at least some people will loose weight.
If you figure it out how to do great mixture for criminals we will all celebrate your Noble price...

Hmmm... criminals into butterflies... when in the larval stage, they do a lot of mischief to plants... some would say it's criminal... interesting...

I like the idea of the truth serum potion I would use it on a few of my family members and my husband. I would also make up a potion to make people fat for a month atleast so they would know and understand how it feels for someone to have to deal with it daily. What would go in the spell I haven't a clue but it would have to be interesting enough to work...lets see..
2 tail of pig
4 hair of cows
4 drops of lard
1 eye of snake
2 tongue of toad
1 wing of bat
1 feather of ostrich
4 pickled pig feet and hocks
2 cups of pickled pig feet juice
Bring to a boil simmer for 2 hours add to every meal for a week. On the 8th day the person will wait up 3 times their body weight.
How does this sound?

I have been known to make a potion or two in my day!! But I am more of a chant kind of witchy-poo..lol whether I would use them on my family or not would depend on what they are for and made of. I have always liked movies with the witches like that as well . But my all time favorite witch movie is Hocus Pocus .

Lol..I love what you would do with your two potions. Those are great ideas.
I think I would make a couple potions. I have no idea what my potions would be for. I think they would have to be to help animal and children in some way. Not sure how.

I would only make them for good. I like your idea of getting all the canidates to be honest. A potion where they could not lie under any circumstances. It could really help our country. I think they owe us some truth.

I would be tempted to make a potion to get an employer to hire me and all people who are presently unemployed,
a potion to fix the global economic crises for all people,
a potion to have people love each other and to also love the Earth and all of creation.
a potion that gave instant and lasting enlightenment and self realization and happiness to all people.
a potion that gave peace to all people.
a potion that healed injuries and illnesses.
But... I have no potions...
And were I to have them, I do not know if I would use them...
Unless of course those who took them were fully informed of the guaranteed results and gave informed consent.

I would use it on ALL politicians to make them into honest, decent, MUTE people! As for family i would use it on both my sons to make them keep their room spotless and if spotless is to much for the potion then at least make the floor visible!

I'd like to make a potion that enables everyone to just say whatever they've been wanting to say, to let it out of their systems, good or bad, then have everyone forget it the next day. No consequences, no impact on the present or the future.
I'd like to make a concoction that when spilled on the ground, a magical tree with money for leaves.

If I could make a potion; I think it would be something that would affect everyone in the world. Maybe, a "Kindergarden Rules Potion." You know when you go to your first day of school you hear the Kindergarden Rules. Play nice with others, share, no fighting and all that. Well, if everyone had to follow that their whole lives I think the world would be better off. What do you think?

Make politicians tell the truth? - Don't think there is any potion strong enough for that. It is impossible for this to happen, not just for your presidential candidates, but also for those on this side of the pond as well. Anyway - even if your potion did work and they told the truth - NO-ONE would ever believe them!!

Hi twoey, Samhain/Halloween isn't known for all those potions etc actually it is a time of worship for witches and the new year as that is the witches calendar and start of the new year..yet if I did do something weird it would to be to turn a person I know into a genie in a bottle and throw them down a well so they would never be found!!..oh and have left you a comment on your page..quite apt for this discussion take a look lol..blessings littleowl
