Doubt please??? What is the "STAR" before our user id?

hello mylottians thank you posting your comments.
I have a doubt what is the star before our user id. for example you my id sonustar before that you can see a yellow colored star which has a number 8 inside in it. likewise for someother id i can see red colored star with number 9 inside in it.
Actually what those numbers and and colors denote. I'm very much eager to know much about mylot. Thank you. have a nice time.

Yep, the star does indicate your reputation here. The higher the value, the better the quality of your response here. And also you will be earn higher rate with a star with a higher number. If you want to boost up your star number, try to make quality and longer post, rate posts, select best response, create interesting threads that can attract a lot of response and make less grammatical errors in your posts.

hi.. that star denotes your value of reputation.
it will be increased or decreased if any other users makes a positive or negative for you. you are in 8 & really good. 10 is the top rank i think. but i never mind the ratings at all. also i never give negative ratings to anyone.
Ratings does not affects your earnings.
