The new NetBook - what do you think about it?

Looks like this is the newest "up and coming" technologically inclined thing to have! Looks like a good idea and good grief, if people can text a mile a minute on their cell phones with that tiny little key pad, this NetBook shouldn't be a problem at all! But still $300-$500 - a laptop/notebook is just a few dollars more (if you watch sales and coupons!)...why not just wait and get what works the best. If it was cheaper than that, I'd probably get one just for word processing purposes, but then again, since I seldom go anywhere where a computer is necessary or even optional, I guess it'd just be a waste of money for me, but hey - you guys that are on the go or have a use for it - what do you think? Can you change my mind? Plus, looks like a good investment is to invest in companys that make batteries for this kind of thing - hum.... http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/null/108513
