Andre's Situation

Ok here is an update. Andre is cleared from quarentine and has had his shots for the year. The neighbor who got bit has apologized and admitted that yes indeed Andre had been living with her neighbor. She said that when she went to talk to him about Andre he denied taking care of him and was emphatic about Andre belonging to us so that is why she behaved the way she did and she is now sorry for her behavior.
So we are still looking for him a new home out of the neighborhood.Till then he is living with us. I have two dogs and a cat already so this is a burden but I won't just put him in a shelter or dump him.
So that is where we are.

Hi sweet! I'm glad that Andre got cleared of his situation!
So he's innocent! I hope that you can find him a nice home.
He doesn't sound like a bad guy. I wish there was someone
who would be able to take him in. He really needs a nice
home and you have done so much for him already. I sure hope
that someone in the area will want him really soon. I know
that you already have your hands full. Maybe someone will
decide to take him and give him a nice home. I hope so.

I am glad your neighbor apologized and told you the truth. But did she tell the county the truth? If not, in my opinion her apology did not mean a darn thing. I don't blame you for looking for another home for him. Do you have a craiglsit.com in your area? If so, try on there and see if you can find someoe who lives out in the country with a big farm house who would be willing to take the cat in. Good luck.
