Should Christians observe Halloween?

Should Christians observe Halloween? - First of all I must let you know that in India Halloween is like a foreign thing - so I have never been to a halloween party etc etc.
My question is
Should Christians observe Halloween?
Some people say it has its roots in paganism and satanic.
Others view it as just a fun day.
But what is the truth? What is right?

It all depends on how you celebrate it. I am a Christian, and I have always viewed Halloween as nothing more than a fun time where kids dress up and go door to door getting candy and other treats. I believe if you keep it in that sense, then its okay for a Christian to celebrate Halloween. But if you go deep into the back history of All Hallow's Eve and start doing the rituals and whatnot, then you are crossing a line that Christians shouldn't.
