you are at the movies and some people are talking or texting? do you tell them to shut up? I do hate it... especially when the person I'm with is the one doing the talking/texting. My best friend always talks to me during a movie:\and my other friend always texts her friends during a movie... Texting someone during a movie is bad enough. but it's worse when you're with someone, then it's just rude

I know what youre talking about and i too fnd this really anoying. I kinda put up with people texting in theaters because its not too disracting and atleast theyre making an effort not to distract everyone by not actually talking on their phone. Those are the people i really cant stand. What really gets me is that they think that talking even louder is justified just because the movie is loud. Just last week when i was watching Max Payne there was a group of kids that were actually jsut there to casue trouble. They kinda split up into to group and some of them kept walking from group to group as if they were at home or something. Furthermore they got one of their group to run across the movie screen. And dont even get me started on how much they were talking. I was at the back so it idnt really bother me too much, however i could tell the people near the front couldnt put up with this.

Wow, that is really ridiculous. I have also seen kids acting like they own the movie theater! It makes me wonder where their parents are. Why would you just drop them off like that? That is just rude to interrupt and disrupt a movie for everybody else!

I hate it too. It's rude and impolite. Some don't seem to realize that they're disturbing people around them. Besides, when you're at the movies, it is neither the place nor the time to be texting or chatting or whatever.

Yes, this is one of the worst things ever! It really bothers me that some people don't even seem to realize that they are being really rude and impolite! And you are right, why would you do this during a movie that you paid good money to see? Shouldn't you be wanting to pay attention to see what happens?

yes it's bad enough and I hate it too. But people do don't seem to realize it and some people are too excited doing these things that they don't seem to notice what other people feel.

Talking is the worst. It's the same thing when you are at a live show. I went to a comedy show on halloween and the group of peolple I sat behind talked the whole time. I don't really see a problem with texting. As long as your phone is on silent and you're not making any noise. It's your problem if you wanna sit there and text and miss the movie.
