Do you have Real Player on your computer? Does it slow down for no reason, or lose it's internet connection? It could be real player. I installed Real Player on Wednesday then spent 3 days in computer h3ll while support worked to find and fix the problem. The Apple Genius says he has seen more problems caused by Real Player then any other spyware. If don't have it ..don't get it...if you have it good luck uninstalling it. http://www.stopbadware.org/reports/reportdisplay?reportname=realplayer01282008 This is for both Windows and Mac users

Thank you! I've been trying to eliminate whatever I can on my computer as my memory count is nearly non existent or soon will be. I thought it was just my boyfriends Casino game he has downloaded which definately is spyware and I found out regularly uploads without my 'consent'. I never even use REalplayer but just thought it would be useful to have but I do have Windows mediaplayer.

I think there is more spyware out there then we realize and while a problem from it might not have been as obvious as my problem...everyone complains about there windows computers getting slower and slower....may be this has something to do with it.

Really? Spyware? I used to have Real Player, and I used it with no hitch every time. I'm not sure about Internet connections, but my browser never slowed down. Maybe it's a specific problem? Well, whatever it was, it never took over my computer.

It is here, I hope I have not installed or run it. It just suddenly appeared where I used to have an icon for Real One player. I never used it. Thought it was just part of an upgrade. I will rush out and check on it. Thank you so much, that may be what is wrong with my computer lately.

It is hard to say, I used real player for years, and then all of a sudden I download it on Wednesday and my computer goes off the deep end on Thursday...when the Apple Genius looked at the console...the IP address was being changed by Real Player...and I was losing my connection. He removed it...problem gone.

I installed Real Player a couple of weeks ago when Windows Media wouldn't open up for me. I watch Joyce Meyer every night through her website but Windows Media didn't work so I downloaded Real Player and watched it that way. But I am back to watching on Windows Media. Real Player is still on my computer and I haven't had any problems at all.

Just be careful....It has caused problems for me and I must admit I had it in the past and blamed slow computer on windows etc....may be it was not all Microsoft's fault.
