Family really sucks

I have a brother in law that is messed up I just want to yell at him. We have helped this guy out on many occasions. My husband went to another province to pick him up once to bring him back home, we used all of our money as he promised to pay us back (I was pregnant at the time and needed baby stuff) so we did it. We have also learned that he has been in contact with the pedophile that sexually assaulted two of our boys. He has also called my mother in law a liar. He now says that he will not return the items of ours until my husband apologises to his wife. He says that my husband was rude to her even though we all know that he was not. I am ready to scream. Does anyone else have family that sucks?

Wow, some people get so caught up in things that they either can or can not handle that they lose who they really are inside. It sounds like your Brother in law has got caught in the wrong crowd, and the only thing that can be done is to separate him from others. Does your brother in law's wife (which I presume is your husband's sister) feel as if your husband needs to apologize? If not, I would apologize for your brother in law's sake so that you can get the property he owes you and not have to worry about it.
