Do you think that it is okay to wear pajama pant outside your house? I have daughters that have done this, a friend does not think that they should. What is your opinion?

I don't think it's a big deal, but I would not really do it myself. I mean, if that's what a person wants to do, I don't think anyone should really care if it's an informal occasional. It's the most casual you can get!

Personally I wouldn't not even in my dressing gown, but each to their own I think, a few weeks ago I saw a young man wearing his pj's in the supermarket i thought that was a bit much...

I guess my opinion would depend on whether or not its what I would consider "lounge" pants or pj bottoms. The difference is that the "lounge" pants are typically thinking and more like sweat pants without the elastic at the bottom. And pjs are normally thinner and sometimes almost see thru. I would not have a problem with them wearing the lounge pants a lot of people I have seen wear those with a tee shirt or something in a very relaxed atmosphere or maybe to run to the corner store. If they were going to the mall or something I probally would prefer them in something else.

Not a big fan of it but with teens, sometimes you really have to pick your battles. Is this the hill you would choose to die on? Also, while they may be sloppy (and who can't remember our parents complaining about some sloppy style we had) at least they are decent. Decency is a battle I will choose to win on.
