Annoy the Media

Something I got from Newts news letter I get in email I think it makes since! QUOTE: Today marks the end of one of the most dishonest, relentlessly one-sided campaigns of bias and distortion by the mainstream media in American history. The latest tactic in this elite media campaign has been to declare the presidential race over in an effort to discourage some voters from going to the polls. After all, if Barack Obama has already won, why should supporters of John McCain even bother to vote? But this election won't be decided by Keith Olbermann, or CNN, or the New York Times. It will be decided by you. So annoy the mainstream media. Remember 2000. Remember how close it was. Remember how every single vote counted. Go out and vote. Now.

I did vote but it didn't make much difference I'm afraid. I live in a blue state (ashamed) But I feel the media gave our country away to a terrorist Muslim. If they would have told America the truth about his past he might never made it this far but they chose to ignore the obvious. Kieth Obermann is a creep, he should be old enough to remember The Nation of Islam, The Black Panthers, Malcolm X, Louis Farrakhan etc. etc. Instead he's so worried about being P.C. and having a Republican president again that he has blinders on.

yup I think the media did give us away too. They never toltally gave Mc cain the backing they did Obama seems like the race was between hilllary and obama then Mc cain had to come in with hardly any coverage at all. but I aint saying I didnt help this morninf they said 500,000 voted in Nevadda hadnt voted dont know what is is now! If he does win for sure I cant see those young Blaack people getting more arragant than they all ready are thats all I saw jumping up and down on the tv screen sigh!

I'll blame the media more than anyone if Obama destroys this country. The bad news is starting to come in. I just heard that he already gave a 16 month time line for pulling the troops out of Iraq and putting more in Afganastan. Way to go, tell the enemy our plan. I would love to hear what General Paton would have to say about a lol, time line. Lol, (yet it's not funny) Afghanistan will probably be ready and waiting. Afghanistan just might be Obamas equivalent to President Bush's Iraq.

..unfortunately, one party over the other has gotten control over the media and also education, especially the colleges and universities.. These two powerful information influences (media and education) fosters many votes..

I guess many of the McCain voters stayed home, not to mention those who were guilt driven to vote for Obama because of what the blacks went through in the slavery days, because Obama won. Now I wonder whether this winning was orchestrated. I mean had equal access been given to both candidates, then there would not be a majority Democratic presence in the Senate, and the Congress.

I did vote and so did my husband and my mother. I will hope for the best due to the way the election went. Maybe he will turn out to be a good president that is able to reunite our nation. I will pray that this is the case.

Well I'm going to vote today, no doubt, but how come I keep hearing that our votes don't count anyway? That the popular vote won't determine who wins, so it makes me wonder why should we vote then if it doesn't count. I myself don't understand politics and all the electoral votes and the super delegate stuff, my husband has tried to explain it to me, but I just can't get it..lol.

that's also what I grew up hearing (that individual votes don't really count-it's the electoral & delegates that predict the winner or something like that)

It's funny, In most countries when a despot takes over, The first thing he does is take control of the media. But not in America. Here the media takes over the election and installs the despot themselves. Now all the despot has to do is shut down the opposition media. http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31798_Columbia_Univ._Director_Replies_to_Request_for_Khalidi_Tape-_Yeah_Right_..._Loser

IT has really annoyed me how bias the major media has been. Heck even SNL was making fun of it last night. How the media has fallen all over themselves over Obama. The media does not even bother to try and look unbias anymore. The question is how do we stop it? How we make them be unbias? Writing angry letter might help. But I pretty much think they will ignore them. The most powerful weapon we have against them is our remote controls. Turn the channel and stop listening. Let their ratings drop. That drops the amount they can sell commericals for which hurts their bottom line. That is about the only way you are going to get them to listen. I personally get my news online mostly. That way I can get it from multiple sources.
