I have this condition two years ago and I thought it's okay to just ignore it but when my hyperacidity turned into GERD (Gastro Esophagial Reflux Disease), that I felt some kind of choking sensation in my throat, I already consulted a doctor. I was cured by so many medications he prescribed and I enjoyed it for the last two years. Just recently, I was again experiencing the same condition and no doubt, this is again a severe hyperacidity. This time, I don't want to take synthetic meds but I need your help in finding the best natural way to cure me... Thank you all for your help.

I found some these may be helpful to you.You may practice some of these Bananas, watermelon and cucumber consumption, eating a lemon rind or chewing basil leaves (tulsi) are good home remedies for hyperacidity. Diluted or thinned buttermilk mixed with a pinch of powdered pepper taken regularly serves as a reliable home remedy for hyperacidity. Consuming fresh pineapple juice after meals or eating jaggery is enjoyable home remedies for hyperacidity. Some intelligent old-timers used to partake of tea with jaggery. Drinking about ten glasses of cold water or frequent sipping of fresh mint juice are easily executable remedies. Chilled milk, free of fat, taken every few hours curbs the problem. Sweet lemon juice before meals serves as an effective home remedy for hyperacidity. Cumin drink (boiling one teaspoon of cumin in two liters of water) taken daily keeps the problem at bay. Ginger juice with a spoonful of honey after meals effectively shoos hyperacidity away. Children may be given apple cider vinegar in water to which a little baking soda is added. Burping of infants after each meal is advisable. Last but not least, a cup of delicious vanilla ice cream is the yummiest home remedy for hyperacidity

It seems to me that it may have something to do with what you are eating. You may want to go to a Nutritionist (if you can afford it) and write down all the foods you eat so you can both pinpoint the exact problem. You can also research it online and read up about it. I'm sure you could find another way to treat it other than synthetic medications. Most times they can do more harm than good. I wish you all the luck in finding a solution to your problem.
