I tend not to make waves. I also tend to be honest.. as honest as possible. I dunno. I guess I can't directly relate to your question.

I am sure that they are one in every company. I feel we shouldn't take it out on the so called "bad Guy" just for bringing us bad news or having to do bad things because he is just like us trying to do his job and survive I doubt he likes being the "bad guy" so have a heart and don't hate a person for doing their job.

We had a guy like this where I used to work. He was always pointing out the obvious and going against corporate. It always seemed like he was so extreme, there was no happy medium with him. Unfortunately, even though he made a lot of sense, no one seemed to listen to him a whole lot. He was always one of the top numbers producers. But that company just didn't want anyone to stir the pot.
Myself, no I'm not that way. I'm more of a mediator. I can see both sides, and try to keep things under control. That is, until I just absolutely can't take it anymore. If I really totally disagree with something, then I will stand up for my right. Then if it gets shot down, fine I move on. But if it is someone doing something wrong to me and no one will listen, poof. I blow my top, and then I'm usually out of there. That's the way it goes sometimes. Usually, karma comes back to bite the one who bit me though. So I don't feel so bad in the long run.
What about you? How do you deal with things at work? Are you the mediator or the instigator? Have a great day!
