I haven't seen it yet. Thinking of taking my daughter. Anyone seen it? Was it worth the ticket price or should I wait for the dvd? We love the 1st one.

I have not seen it yet. But I have seen Madagascar and my son loved it so I think that the sequel will be good too. If I read good reviews about it I might take my nehpews and nieces as a christmas present this christmas. © ronaldinu 2008

Because my son is older now, he's not quite so enthused at the idea of going to see this at the theater. I enjoyed the first one and a couple of those darn songs stuck and there I would be singing them during the day. We'll wait for the DVD and rent in through NetFlix probably. I even put it in my rental queue already. I don't think many movies are worth the ticket price anymore. If three of us go in the evening and get pop and popcorn, we're talking $50.00. Crazy.

I have heard that the star studded cast is the perfect mix and that it is a great movie.. Madagascar scored the biggest weekend gross since Dark Knight's $75.2 million in late July. It scored the biggest debut since Dark Knight's crazy $158.4 million bow in mid-July. And it scored the biggest debut for a CGI toon since 2007's The Simpsons Movie. In the sequel tradition, the new Madagascar outgrossed the first weekend of the "old" Madagascar (released in 2005) by 35 percent. It's gotta be good to be able to do that.

I have not seen it yet either. I will see it when it comes out on DVD and rent it through Netflix.

I want to see it. I have seen several previews for it on television and it looks hilarious. The Zebra is my favorite. I liked the first one and this one looks even better than the first one.

It is expensive to go to the theaters anymore, so I do not catch very many movies out. However, my daughter's bright shining smile might inspire me to take her to this one. Might, maybe, you never know. :)

I can't wait to see this movie! If it weren't so expensive to see in theaters I would definitly go, but of course I have to pay for 7 people to get in, so that's a bit too much for me. We will wait until it's on video, but paying the high prices has still crossed our minds once or twice.
