i have no idea when i am going to have a new picture to be post on my site. for i soak my one and only camera in our fish pond (unintentional). all of my recent photos was there and i have no idea if i can buy a new camera. don't have a budget yet... well any one can help me out? can anyone give some ideas here to help me out for a new cam... well if you can't send it to me as a christmas gift then ideas are very welcome here...

I can't help with a camera, my friend, but if yiou allow your card to dry slowly and thoroughly, you should be able to save your photos.
Don'r try to dry it with ether or dewetting spray, and don't put it in the microwave (unless you want a pretty spectacular mini fireworks display... just leave it in a warme, dry place for a day or two.
If it doesn't just go back to normal, try a software retreival program on it.

When my cameras get wet in the rain I simply place them in an open area near a heat vent and let them air dry for a couple of days. In your case I would recommend that you dry the camera using a soft cotton cloth, remove the battery and card. After a couple of days I would get a large zip lock bag and place the camera in with some siclon drying packets and seal it up. You may be able to save the camera. The card should work once it is dry.
