I just bought a brand new laptop today. It's Toshiba Satellite m305d-s4840. It's been a while since my last one died. On my desktop computer, I'm still using XP but on my laptop, it came with window vista. I haven't used it yet because I'm still in a process of setting it up. For some reason, I can't download Macfee on to my laptop because it keeps asking me for email & password but ones I remembered putting in it keeps getting kicked out. Any suggestions?

Hello sk66rc. So it is one year late since I read your topic of this "brand new laptop". When I bought my new laptop a few days ago, my friend asked me to choose either windows xp or vista. I told him to install the previous one for me as I have been using windows xp for years and I am familiar and happy with it. I wish that you had no more problems with the downloading of Macfee. Good luck to you, friend.

I have McAfee also, and what I did was use my old computer, as that had the username and password remembered for McAfee, then reset the password, I then logged in and did my download to get my anti-virus setup on my laptop
I personally think Vista is Great, took me about a week to get use to it, and now it is better than XP
