Yes I said HATE. And yes it is a strong term. But these really get under my skin. These emails that start off cute. So you get hooked. Then at the end, it's make a wish send it to 10 people or you will get the opposite of your wish..etc. Chain emails suck!@! Do you agree?

Yeah they can be a little stupid but I usually ignore them. I don't even read the whole mail. The words "send this to 10 more people or..." are already enough from me to delete the mail.

Those go straight in the bin. But there is another type that say that you must pass them on and back to the person that sent them, to you and the good luck increases the more people that you send to. Several of my friends send these and I'm not brave enough to say NO! LOL. I send them back usually, but I don't forward them.

I also have a strong hatred for these types of chain emails. I will usually send them on with a warning in the subject line Warning chain letter, do not open! so that it will help in putting a stop in them. I hate that others don't give me that warning as well but I guess they just forward it and go on their merry way. They are some that are cute with pictures or saying then wham bottom line to send to all on your firneds list or something bad will happen..That is why I send it I have enough bad luck without adding more even if it is suppose to not be real but as I said I put warning in the subject line. I just wish others did that for me.

The ones I hate the most are the ones that end with "if you believe in God or Jesus pass this on to 10 ppl". Like they have to guilt you into it. If I like something enough to pass it on I always copy and paste it and take that part out. I figure if ppl want to pass it on they will and if not, oh well. I just don't send on chain emails. They are a sort of a social virus which perpetuates and spreads. Often, they include stories that are alarmist and just plain wrong with the facts. Yes, I guess I find some of those pass it along emails rather .. irritating from time to time.

Hi ersmommy1! I also got that kind of message not only in my mailbox but also on my cellphone and there's a lot there and actually I hate it too. I just don't want it when a message will say "if you will not pass it to 10 people something bad will happen to your family. Why would they do it anyway? I really don't understand.

I get very few of those. I have an aunt that would out several of those a day. I swear she was on some sort of list to get that many. She would always forward them to me. That was a few years and an email address ago though. She does not have my email address anymore. (Bad I know!)

I hate those too! It is just such a waster of time! I will try and delete them before wasting my time if I catch on fast enough to what it is but sometimes they wait until the end of the email before you find out what it really is.

Hi ersmommy. Yes, I hate those too. I get them a lot but I never send them to anyone. I think they are a waste of time. They have cute pictures but I think it's crazy to believe that if you don't send them to other people something bad will happen or if you do, something good will happen.

Hi ersmommy1, I usually delete these kind of emails and what is more, I am sometimes astonished that persons who sent them seem so superstitious that they sned them to me. If the email has a good message then I press forward and then delete the part that says bad things will happen if you don't send it immediately to your 27 best friends in the next five minutes. You get my thought here? It is just a waste of time. I have one friend that does it all the time and would be so hurt if I spoke to her asbout it so as I see her forwards then I just delete them immediately. I am not superstitious. Totally with you on this one

I still get them forwarded messages but those chain e-mails, I really don't forward them anymore. If I get one that is nice I will forward it. But when it says something like wishes or something will happen if you don't...I just delete them. It does suck.
