I love this sentence. I love quotes in fact and thought that this was a good sentence that says it all.... "To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did." Tell me what you think about that. Hugs!!!

Yes Madam, I am fully agree with your statement! Unless we do newer activities, we can never expect newer way of success! A little newer step may bring us a higher achievement that sometimes is beyond expectations! Thanks and happy mylotting!

Another great statement is “We must become the change we want to see," by Henry David Thoreau. Also, "If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change," by Dr. Wayne Dyer

Really it's a good quotation. The second part of the quote I like more:'you have to do something you never did'.But I don't want to get something which I have not. I have many wants.I have no ability to get those. Can I get a palace?

I agree to that.. to do something you've never done before is a risk; Without risks, we never learn.. i plan to go abroad after graduating and working there, it's a risk for me since i'll be surrounded by new cultures, new people, new environment and away from my family and friends.. To succeed is to take a risk :)

I am a risk taker, my husband is not. I will just go for it if I feel it is worth going for. I did that with my business. I ran a successful dance school for 15 years before I retired. I opened it with no capital, just $250 and bargaining skills. I was the only staff member, with one room and 40 students, in a very rural area. It grew to 250 students (a large amount for my area), taking many classes, 5 classrooms, a dance attire shop, a competition team, a ballet company, a staff of 10 teachers, 5 receptionists, 15 assistant teachers, two cleaning ladies and 2 maintenance men. I did that because I decided to just go for it and I did it alone. I now know I could do it again, and do it better than the first time, if I wanted. It also showed my daughter that there are no limits. If you want it, go for it. Only you can stop yourself by saying, "It can't be done." From my experience I have two sentences/quotes that I use all of the time... "Let your dreams take flight" which was a part of my logo, and "There is no shame in trying and failing, only in failing to try." :D

I say a similar thing to a neice of mine that is unhappy with her plot in life at the moment but doesn't do much about it. I'm constantly saying to her, If you keep doing what you're doing, you are going to keep getting what you are getting.

I like that!! One thing I say, especially to my students, when they say, "I can't," is, "You are right, you can't because you do not think that you can. Once you believe you can do it, you will."

Theb one I like is. "We can not change other people's behavior, we can only change how we react." To me I think this is very important and advice I keep telling my Sister in law when it comes to dealing with our Mother in law.
