MMM MMM MMM Bread Pudding

I haven't made bread pudding in a long time, but I found this recipe that The Bohemian Heart had put up on Ciao and had to try it. I cooked it until it didn't shimmy when I shook the pan. Took it out and let it cool a little. I dotted a little butter over the top of mine and added some chopped dried fruit. I think I got too much milk. My fruit all sank to the bottom and made the most sumptuous sauce. I can just dip it out of the pan and turn it upside down, no sauce necessary! If you're a bread pudding fan go on over to Ciao and pick up this recipe. You don't have to be a member to look. http://www.ciao.com/Custard_Pudding_Recipes__Review_10075378

Thanks for sharing. This recipe sounds pretty good. My family loves bread pudding. Myself, I have never eaten one that I like but I bet they'll enjoy this one. Thanks!

Mmm... That sounds fantastic. I do enjoy bread pudding; I can't remember if I've ever made any, though; if I have, it's been a few years. I used to do a lot more baking than what I do these days; I hope to get back to it, once I have my own kitchen again.

My mom made bread pudding last weekend. It was so rich and yummy. It had rum and raisins...a very nice combo :-) That was a good idea to just turn it upside down.

My Granny used to make bread Pudding , she put Raisins and pecans in it. Boy that was good! I haven't had Bread pudding since she passed away, and my children have never had it! How awful, those poor kids. I think i'll make it for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
