Gay Marriages

A lady who I talk to down the school brother is getting married.
She wasn't too pleased that he is going to marry a man, although she said he has been gay all his life.
I thought the marriage was a good idea and as I said to her, surely you would rather see him married to a man and be happy for the rest of his life thwan marry a lady and be unhappy.
She was telling me about the wedding and what people would be wearing etc.
It sounds like it is going to be a very lovely day, well thought out, well planned and most of all full of love

I think they want to marry to each other, because they have household together and per law, they want to be protected if something happen to the partner.
I am not against guy marriages. I have very nice guy couple next door. They are very peaceful and polite. I have many guy friends as well.

homosexuality is a sore spot with a lot of people,
they think it is unnatural
or against their religion
it is just difficult,
for some people to accept.
Personally it doesn't matter to me, but I have seen many families disown their homosexual relatives.

I am not for gay marriages I don't think they are right but it up to the partys that are doing it.

I don't see why gay couples shouldn't marry then they are entitled to the same as straight couples are, tax benefits etc. I am of course not saying that, that is the only reason for them to marry it should be primarily because they love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together same as straight people. Where is the harm? What is the problem?
