Intolerance by radical groups

Last night on the Factor they had a news clip about a group that supports Gay Marriage disrupting a Church Service with a demonstration, shouting and throwing leaflets around. In another clip they showed a person claiming to be from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) throwing a large quantity of powder at a woman who was wearing a fur. Last week there were demonstrations in California over the defeat of Gay Marriage where demonstrators attacked supporters and committed acts of vandalism against Black Churches. To what extent do you think the results of the election play with this increase in violence and what do you see as the answer. Do these people think that because President Obama was for change that they have license to force change on people?

Most of this was occurring before 0bama won the election. We are seeing more of it now I think because they are emboldened... 0bama's win seems to make people think that the laws no longer matter. The gays are trying to claim that gay rights are the same as the Black Civil Rights movement, when the reality is that the two do not even come close. http://townhall.com/columnists/DennisPrager/2008/11/18/is_gay_the_new_black http://www.onenewsnow.com/Blog/Default.aspx?id=324660 I think that these people thought they could force change on people before 0bama got elected. That courts decision that forced the issue of Proposition 8 to begin with was made long before the election, and that was an attempt by the gay community and the activist judges to ignore the will of the people in California. They are now trying it again by trying to get Proposition 8 overturned. The people have now spoken twice, and the gay community is determined that they will undermine the democratic process and the rule of law by forcing their will against the majority will. Although the gays demand tolerance from everyone else, they display no tolerance for opposing views, which show how intolerant they really are. I think they partly believe that they have a right to impose their views on everyone else because of 0bama's friendship with terrorists like Ayers, and his ties to ACORN. I do know that a lot of people think that they no longer have to follow the law as evidenced by that 19 year black female that reached into a police car and slapped a white cop while telling him that there was nothing he could do to her since 0bama got elected. She was arrested...

I agree that we will see much more of this. Many of the supporter of President Obama feel that they have things coming to them. Just look at the UAW (over 1 million in donations) wanting the Government to ensure their contracts. Until they are told NO they will keep demanding more and more. Once they gain one thing the will demand more.

Yes I do agree that Obama's election has given these people license to bring "change" whether we want it or not and this is only the beginning.
