A friend visited lst night just as my grandtwins had fnishe dbathing. when she saw that talcum powder had been used she said that it is proven to damage their lungs! I asked why then is it still being sold if this is true. she was insistent that only corn starch should be used with children. Can someone help me with this? Is it true?

Hi Bodhi, many thanks for responding. all what the ladies said is true. I checked it on line and then phoned the twins' doctor who confirmed this. Children can actually die from inhalation

cynthiann I am nearly sure I responded to this discussion of yours four weeks ago. In fact I no I did and it is not here anymore.???? The same thing happened on fwidilins to me last night. I replied and tagged it and went back a while later and it was not there. Well anyway. Yes! Talcum is really bad for your lungs. We should put it on our hands away from the baby as they can breath in the dust from it that can cause lung diseases and things.

I hope they haven't stopped us from even a little chit-chat!That would be horrible! I guess it wouldn't be the first time that I got in trouble over talking out of turn!(especially in school!)
