Is one of your favorite movies one that most people have probably never heard of? Maybe it was not a big screen movie, but straight to Video or DVD? It might even be a made for TV movie. Share with us some of your favorite movies that you think most people will not know about...maybe it will become one a favorite for someone else too.

Have someone heard about Jane Austen Book Club? I watched it in a DVD and I think it is a good movie. People around me doesn't know anything about this movie, and since the actors are not so popular, I think not many people know about this movie. I am so sorry if it is actually well known by people here in myLot.

I have not heard of it before. Maybe some here on myLot have, but not me. I just looked it up on IMDB. It is a fairly recent movie. It came out about 13 months ago.

Indeeed. I found it in a DVD store. I have never heard it before but I was in the need of new movie to watch so I watched it. It was actually a good movie, maybe the lack of marketing made this movie just unknown

I like the movie Blood and Chocolate. I don't know if it was in theatres. But hubby and I enjoyed it. It was one we rented from Netflix.

I have two. One was way back in the beginning of Reese Witherspoon's career. I don't know many people who have seen this movie, and it was released more than a decade ago. It was called A Far Off Place, and it was from Disney. It was a drama, and a really good one. The other movie is called Wild Hearts Can't be Broken. It was based on a true story. I highly recommend it. It is rated G, so when I was a kid my parents let us see it in theaters. It had one curse word, so it is fine to watch with children in the room as well. Both movies I mentioned are fine to watch with children, but the first one might be a little scary in some parts for the little ones.

My all time favorite movie from my childhood is The Sandlot. It was a cute movie, but I think the reason I liked it most was because of a particular cutie in the movie. That was of course back when I was a teenager. There are many movies I've considered my favorite over the years. Steel Magnolias was at one point, there are a lot of stars in that one. Daylight with Sylvester Stallone was a favorite at one point... if you haven't seen it, you should, it's great! The Green Mile. Only The Strong... that's probably one that people haven't heard of. It's about a Brazilian martial arts called Capuela. I loved it as a teen as well. It's older, but it's good. I especially liked the music in it.

My favourite is Seven Samurai which, being a Kurosawa film, is pretty well known! However, his follow-up to Yojimbo, "Sanjuro" is less well-known and absolutely great. If I had to pick a film that I really liked and people may not know, I'd go for either "Cosi" or "Shall We Dansu?". Then again, I could easily list another ten titles that are wonderful and little-known!!
