Do you ever have days when nothing goes right?

I've had a few days like that this past month. Nothing seemed to go right. And, if there was the possibility that things could go right, I did something to mess them up. I think most of my bad luck days happen when I've had too little sleep. Do you ever have days when nothing goes right?

yes i do, sometimes from sun up to sun down and until the next day . but lucky i have a wife who always push me up and alwasy comfort me. specially when i get so frustrated and feel that i am a tolal loser.... she is there to make me feel like i am superman. she gives me a cup of coffee or a cold chocolait drink that comforts me plus a giggle from my child is one thing that makes it better. for me badlucks occur when i get angry on something on someone that affects my mood already

Usually it's called Friday! I hate that day to begin with because it's shopping day, and I have to go to super walmart, which is horrible, but it's cheap and I can't get away with spending less than $200 a week at any other store. yesterday was the worst Friday for me. First I went to the thrift stores to look for some stuff the kids needed. I did find a couple pair of snow pants my boys needed, and I bought a pair of sneakers my oldest needed. Of course when I got home and he tried them on, turns out they were 7.5 size in women's not men's, so they didn't fit him, and I can't wear that size either, so total waste of money there. Luckily it was only $4. Then it was off to grocery shopping, with the baby screaming his head off the whole time. I was so stressed, I'm lucky I brought a list because I would have forgotten everything if I didn't have it due to my stress. I did end up forgetting a few things anyways. I get in the car trying to leave, and ended up spilling the drink I'd just bought for $3, it's my once weekly shopping treat, and I spilled it!! Ugh! Oh, and I bought my daughter's easy bake oven she's getting for Christmas, and my cart was so full cuz of the turkey that I ended up dropping it... twice! I pray it's not broken! I may want to replace it anyways just to be sure. Then I get home and had a couple messages on my machine that scared me, one was that my son wasn't in school, although he actually was. The other was that I hadn't returned a DVD to Blockbuster, but I actually had. I finally got that straightened out. Then I went to make dinner and the chicken I'd planned on had gone bad, I had frozen it but apparently not in time, ugh! Then the twins had basketball practice, and we were running late because of the dinner issue, and the car was covered in an inch of ice, and I realized I don't have a scraper yet. So I had to drive to the school and couldn't see a thing. When I got there all the kids were covered in sauce from dinner because I didn't have time to clean them, and the baby was still screaming his head off. Yeah, it just wasn't a good day!

Oh, I don't envy you. It's bad enough in our area when temperatures drop to the thirties. But we never, ever get snow. Not even ice. But, once I moved in the middle of a blizzard. It was 12 degrees. And that was warm, compared to the eight degrees from the day before. I don't know why I couldn't have waited a week to move, but I just couldn't stand the cold anymore.

I don't mind the cold too much, and I love the snow. I'm not always crazy about driving in it, lol.. but I love how pretty it is. I would not be able to stand heat. When it hits 85 around here I'm wishing for the snow :)

I have, and everyone does experience that too. For me when I have been to too many late nights, my thinking goes wayward and nothing seems to be right and everything goes wrong. That itself tell us that we should appreciate a good rest and wake to a fresh day which prepares us for good things ahead.

Some days I just need a break. It just gets to be the same old rat race after awhile. Change is good.

Sometimes, I close my eyes, take a deep breath and remind myself that there are only 24 hours in a day, so plenty of time to redo tomorrow.

hello buddy, ya there are times when things happen with me and nothing seems to go right. few days back something of that kind of a day happened with me. in the morning i lost my simcard and as i was searching for the sim i misplaced 400 rupees some where and started searching for that. i got late for everything and felt like i should scold myself for being that careless. and in the evening i got some bad news. well that way the day went wrong.

I have days like that, and I once had an entire week go like that. In June the entire month didn't go right. I spent most of my spare time hiding out in the coffee shop with my computer. things always look better after spending time at the coffee shop.

It never hurts to take some time off. Some things just work themselves out.

about every day was like that for me last week, it was really frustrating. I quit my job before the school holiday break. In that 2 weeks I got myself into a routine of what I wanted to do now that I wasn't working. However, school started back up and I get a desperate phone call...someone was really sick and I was the only one who knew what I was doing in the kitchen. I ended up working all week on my very first official week to no longer be working. I know I will enjoy the paycheck next month, but it was just messed up with my routine and I felt like I was going in circles. Marsha

I had one of those days today, although it was only a partial bad day. It seems like my bad days stem from lack of finances.

Been there, done that. Honestly too many times to count. Sleep may have something to do with it. But there are days I feel I just woke up under a cloud. Either way you aren't alone.

Yesterday was one of those. It was a Monday, so that was a bad start in itself. Nothing at work went right, so chocolate was required by the afternoon, the diet went out of the window. The car needed petrol, more money which I didn't have. And this morning I woke up so tired, so yes, think it does have something to do with lack of sleep. Let's hope that today goes better than yesteryday. :)

Oh yeah, I have those days! Sometimes I think that is one thing I like about myLot. I can come here and learn that other people experience those type things now and then. I have associated bad luck days with not having enough sleep before myself.

yes, yes, and yes I have bad days just like the rest of us. they usually start the minute I get up in the morning. It is almost like I need to go back to bed and start the day over again. When I get like that it seems like I am having an extremely emotional day on top of it. I am on the verge of tears on top of it all.

Today is one of those days! I feel like I have achieved nothing all day. Even now I am sat in my car, bitter cold, writing on my laptop (but not connected to the net, I'll send my replies later) because I got the hours of the net centre wrong! I was so pleased with myself too, as I found someone to look after my youngest for a few hours to enable me to work on the net unhindered. It's been wasted time though :-(

Ditto, I think we all do. Its nice to read on here that other people also suffer, it makes us all feel not so alone when we have days like that. Hope you have a very good day soon when everything goes right for you.

Hi there beauty Queen. I must say that i believe many people have had such days in their life. I believe that the best solution to deal with this type of days is to try to do as little things as possible and wait for the end of it because the next one will probably be better.

I have had one of those weeks. Not long ago for a whole week it just seemed like everything was domino effecting in a bad way. NOTHING was going right. I have to just calm myself and think "it'll be over soon and things will be better."
