Well first, I made a discussion about Farm Yarn, but no one's responded to it yet. I put it in Questions and Answers so that might be why, does anyone know of a yarn farm where the proceeds go to the farm? It's a specific site. The site is laid out with pictures and prices in columns. It's not important, so don't bust your butt over it if you can't find it.
Now as for another thing, Light Up Yarn Hooks! Those are so neat! I don't know if I want one or not though, a bit bulky if you ask me. Oh and another thing, a stitch counter. An Electronic stitch counter, kind of neat but not sure if I want it..
So has anyone seen these things? Yarn Farm, Yarn Hook, and Stitch Counter alike?
What things have you found that you liked or thought were neat? Regardless of whether you wanted to buy it, let us know what you've found!

I had not seen the light-up hooks, but I had seen light-up knitting needles someplace. I prefer crochet over knitting, so it is cool to hear they came out with the same thing in hooks.
I remember a long time ago buying this carousel thingie that you could place up to six 2-liter bottle on. You were supposed to clean out the bottles, cut off the bottoms, put a ball of yarn in each one, and run the yarn up and out through the neck. The device was supposed to help manage when you were working with multiple skeins of yarn at once, like with a P hook or Q hook. Yeah - darn think kept tipping over, LOL.

Yea, on the site I saw the hooks, I also read "Knitting lite needles were such a kick"... or something like that. The carousel sounds interesting, but I agree, it had to keep tipping over, especially with different weight on each skein....
I wonder if folger can's wouldn't have worked better?
I apprecaite the response.

I have tried the coffee can thing - it didn't work out too well either. :) I still got that twisting going on, and since it couldn't twist lower down, it would twist up by my work, making it difficult to, well, work!

oh, lol, yea I can see that that would present a problem. I know that people have suggested the coffee can to me before, here online. You put it on the carousel right? I'm not sure how big the carousel is, or what. Well, Maybe one day us crafters can figure out a good way to effectively make it easier to crochet with more then one skein!

Light up crochet hooks would be great when you are traveling in the night in a car. I recently took my crochet project with me on a short trip. I could work on it in the day, but it was impossible to work on it in the dark of night.

I had to lift my work up into the light when a car was behind us so I could see what I was doing. I can work up until the point where I have to add on a different color.

Yea, I can understand being able to do the rest, but when it came to another skein of yarn having trouble doing it in the dark. I don't think I could do it in the car though, I'd get car sick. I can't read in the car.

I know what you mean, well about it being night.. I've tried to crochet without very little light and couldn't. I think it's a great idea, but I don't like the bulkiness of the hook too much. I haven't myself owned one.

I have never heard of a yarn farm. I am going to have to do a search on it and find out what it is.
