That looks really cool, I may have to try it while the kids are making the regular paper snowflakes. And that's a really interesting site too. Can't wait to look around there more.

Thanks for the link. I no longer have small children at home. But I always like to add something new that is homemade to my home at Christmas.

That is so beautiful, I love it. It'd be nice if you put glitter on it as well, not sure how good it would do made with wrapping paper or foil, but I'd love to make this. I am looking at the instructions now. I think you or someone else suggest foil, but I'm not sure if it'd be easy to use that or not as I said above. Hey, I hope you had fun making this last year, and are you going to make one this year?

Thanks for the tip on that, if we choose to do one we'll go the dollar store and get pretty foil wrapping paper and try it with that. Have fun making another!

I do plan on doing it again this year. This year Im going to get the kids involved more on it. Last year was the "learning" period for it lol It turns out real nice. Last year, I did one with christmas paper as well as regular construction paper, the christmas wrapper turned out real pretty but was a lot more work. It was a little more flimsy than the construction paper so I basically did another and double layered it which turned out much better.

that looks really cool. It's sure alot more fancy looking than the flat snowflakes i used to make as a kid. I'll have to give it a try. i noticed there is also a 3d snowman on the link you gave. that looks pretty cool too.
