Tie it up. Shhhh my mouse will hear you and she does not like being confined in any way. She is a good mouse. She has lived with me for years now and never strayed once. We do not have a cat so there is no danger there and she has holidays occasionally so she is very well cared for.

It's true, my wireless mouse runs away. I find it in places I know I did not leave it. I hunt high and low for it sometimes, I used to have two but now I only have one left, I think the other ran away from home or it is hiding in the basement or attic somewhere. I was thinking of getting a cage for it so I could put it in after I use it, the tying of a cord to it seems a little cruel.

Hey i don't like to tie a mouse because it is born free so let us change our idea our aim is just to protect it from a cat and see that it does not run away why not we shall put in a cage and lock it well so that it does not run away and even cat does not eat it away.

Tying it with wire seems so cruel... why not just keep it in a small cage when it's not in use?

i come as a nuisance as i take their mouse away.one day maybe the cat will kill me.
