New carjacking scheme

I just read about this new way people are carjacking peoples cars. They put a piece of paper, or something else on your back window. When you go to pull out, you notice the paper obstructing your view so you hop out to remove it leaving your keys (and purse if you have one) in the car. When you reach the back of the car, they jump in and drive away. Beware of this new scheme. If you see something in your back window, just drive away and move it later.

thats really clever.. makes me sick that i think criminals are more smart that honest people sometimes/all the times lol

Oh, I know right. It's aweful. Except for those guys on the "dumbest criminals ever" videos.
How could some people be so bad. They steal and rob what others have worked hard for to earn/ possess. I hope they just carjack and leave and not kill.

I dont know why people do this. Blows my mind. I dont think they are killing anyone. When they are doing it like this they just jump in real fast before you can even react, so I dont think anyone gets hurt unless they run u over with the car.

Hm that is a new one. So what if the wind is blwoing really hard that day. Wouldnt the paper blow away. By the way Hi sketch, long time no talk. Seems last time we talked it was about ants. lol. Well I will be on the lookout for papers in my window and make sure i bring my itmes with me if I have to remove it. Thanks for the warning :)

you're right. it has been a long time. I guess they just wouldnt carjack on windy days. I dont know. good question. Anyways, be careful and warn others. thanks.

Hi _sketch_,
There has been a few here in the UK. it is really terrible, but I don't drive so I am ok and my husband don't drive that often and when he its to just go shopping, where we are ther are camers every where and there is less crime here in our town.
