how do you handle chain emails?

i don't like it when i receive mails that have warnings at the bottom of "send this to __ number of people" because if i do i will either:
1. get good news
2. meet an accident
3. (heaven forbid) die!
4. etc. etc. etc.
it's doubly disappointing to receive them from people who profess to have faith in God and yet will tell you to "there's nothing to lose if you forward this". who are they kidding? seriously!
if i receive chain mails with good messages (now and then, there are) that i think would uplift someone's day, i make sure i erase the chain email like warnings at the bottom before i pass it on.
i hate being used by the people who created those stupid things (yes, religious contents and all!) who feed on other people's naivety (or just plain stupidity?) to continue spreading this kinds of poison.
chain emails waste bandwidth and people's time!

Some contents of the chain emails are meaningful, then I'll read and forward to my friends, with removing the bottom part of the email "send this to x number of people...". I really don't like to see that, I think it's kinda childish or ridiculous. If the contents are meaningless, then I'll just delete it straight.

I delete them, and move on. I often get the ones that say 'send this to x amount of people, and you'll have something cool appear on your screen/get great emoticons for messenger/etc etc'.
I remember when chain letters were really common a few years ago, I guess they've just moved online now instead.
