When I was in nineteen or so I use to work in a factory where I was to tag pallets of wood. Sounds a little boring but it was one of my favorite jobs.I also worked in an agency before I had my daughter where I assisted people with developmental disabilites. This was one of the most rewarding jobs I ever had.I learned alot not only about people but about myself.have you ever had a great job that you really enjoyed? What was it and what did you do?

I am a software developer, and this is my favorite job. I like writing programs, it's fun. Especially when you see your applications are helping the users to perform their daily tasks, make their work easier and more convenient, it's really a satisfaction. Though sometimes I find it a headache if I couldn't figure out a solution, it's fun to go through the process too, especially when you get it right and get it done, it's really a big joy!!

I have to say that I love my job now, working in a classroom with pre-k/school readiness children. But I worked in a restaurant for 13 years and it was fun! I know to some people that might sound strange, but a majority of the employees were long term, so we became close and had fun at work. I think that being able to have fun at a job is important.

As stated before, I do enjoy what I do. Even though I work in a pre-k/school readiness classroom, there are many children who are troublemakers already. I agree with you about the classroom "crimes". I have to say that teachers do not have control of the classroom anymore, children do. Teachers are very limited on what they can do, let alone what they can say and that is sad. I am going back to school to get my Masters in Social Work, and I probably will not be working in the schools.

The best job I had was my last one. i worked as a resident manager of an old peoples sheltered housing complex. I really enjoyed sorting out care for them and entertainment. I like going on trips with them and used to do a meal for them every week. I was really sad when I had to leave and if I was well enough to work again I would like to do that sort of job again.

I have had two jobs that I especially liked. Some years I worked with elderly people. I was driving around visiting and helping people in their homes. I loved that job. I got to meet so many interesting people and I really enjoyed talking to them and helping them. Some needed help with medicine, some needed help to get dressed, to take a shower etc and others needed practical help like cleaning or laundry. Every day was different and I really liked that. Sometimes that job was a big challenge, it wasn't always easy but I liked that, too. It was definately one of the most rewarding job I've ever had.
The other job that I really liked what was the complete opposite: In a kindergarden. I love children and it was a great job. The kindergarden where I worked was a bit different from other kindergardens because it was a very international place. The children were from lots of different countries, many of them didn't speak Danish and that was a big (and interesting) challenge for me and my co-workers.

My favorite job was driving. Me and my daughter started working for a man who would contract to move cars from one part of the country to another. We hauled one car at a time on a trailer. Sometimes we would haul a motorcycle on the back of the truck. We would take one vehicle from one place and deliver it in another. Then we would try to get another load where we were heading back in the general direction of our starting point.
I had done a lot of traveling when I was younger but my daughter grew up in the same place she was born. This job gave me a chance to show her all the places I had been and we got a great opportunity to bond.
If I could find someone who wanted a driver for that kind of work now I would jump on it in a minute.
