are you a technical or creative writer? are you both?

Creative. I like to write fiction novel, sometimes I add real facts in it (but rarely), coz I just like to imagine things, think out of the box, create something different, stuff like that. Most of the time I can't do manual reports, etc, it's just hard for me. But I can make my self (force my self) to do it if I have to

I am actually more of a creative writer, although I did technical writing and stuff with my previous job. I was an editorial staff when I was in High school and it made want to become a writer someday, someone who writes articles for newspaper and magazines. Now, I opt for writing on my blogs, which are more about my personal life. I consider it creative writing because I can write whatever I want and however I feel and I am happy when I get to write something. I also love writing poems and I keep them all in a small notebook which I own since I was in High School.

Yes I think that I can write good reports. I am good at posting on discussion forums. However, I do not get enough time to do posting on many forums so I stick to mylot and try to post response on mylot discussions. I also feel that I can write good articles on some subjects related to life, time management, human resorce development etc. I have not tried to write articles but soon I am going to try it.

I have no interest in creative writing, though I do enjoy reading it. I have written some poems, but they are descriptive and based on personal feelings and experience, rather than being imaginative. I too enjoy content writing. Most of the articles I write are informational or instructional. I like to research a topic, then write about it, or I can simply share my knowledge and write from experience. I do have a good imagination. I have written and sold travel articles on places I've never visited, and I have successfully completed assignments about things I've never done. After doing some research I can use my imagination to write about them accurately, descriptively and in an informative way.

I'd say I am definitely a technical writer. I can write pretty well and pretty easily, but writing creative fiction makes me uncomfortable for some reason and I find it quite difficult. Luckily I don't really need to write fiction very often, so I get along just fine without doing it. Still I wish I were better at doing both because it would make life a bit more interesting.

guess both. i love writing articles and if not i write poems just to chill out and relax for a while.
