Respond to a Post which has a Pulsating Avatar, flashing in different colors, and jumping around in confusing directions? Well I do, and its so uncomfortable for me I just leave it, and move on to another page, where I can relax, and begin again, to think like a lucid person. Makes no sense to use such mind bobbling idiocracies when there are multitudes of right-minded ways to attract attention to your Post. Whats your view on this craziness?

They don't bother me much, but I have noticed that they can be a distraction. I don't know how many people are bothered by these moving avatars, but if it is a lot of them, MyLot should think to ban them. I have seen a couple of them that were flashing in different colors like you said, and I hope that they haven't set off anyone's epilepsy.

Yes its a fact that such flashing, and moving lights can trigger epileptic seizures in some people. But I'd hate to see them banned. That would be like losing a friend who had upset your life. Its good to be rid of this person, but you are going to miss the excitement.

I've only heard that flashing lights can trigger epileptic seizures, and I only heard that because at one time it was thought that I was having seizures, and the doctors tested me by flashing lights in my face and monitoring my brainwaves during. I don't know exactly what type of lights or how fast they have to flash to do so.
I didn't mean to ban the members that are using these moving and flashing avatars, I was talking about banning the use of such avatars on MyLot. I seriously doubt these people are trying to cause harm, or even draw attention to their discussions. I believe that they found an avatar they liked, just like most people on MyLot, and they just happen to be ones that moved and flashed. If MyLot banned these types of avatars, then those with epilepsy will be safe.

Yes i find it distracting..I also find a lot of other discussions i do not like much too..I will not say what they are but i get quite a few from certain people and i cannot help but delete them...I also get very irratated at those who have the same response to every person who relies, like they cut & pasted it...I appreciate a real reply, not the same reply to everybody over & over like the response it copied.....so i do understand what you are saying....

First of all, I couldn't even add one of that avatars right now. I'd have to investigate the how to on it first. And I wouldn't bother because I don't like them either. I'm twitchy enough without having something like that pulsating in front of me for Pete's sake.
I think these avatars are fun on certain websites, but for discussion, I don't think they add a lot (on myLot haha). Just my opinion and of course, anyone who chooses to have one won't get anything negative on their discussions from me. We're all different here right?
