How many of you read Comic Books,My love story for the comic books started a long time back, must be more that 40 years back. My favourites are Archies and Deniss the Menace, I also like TinTin, as well as Richie Rich,Casper,Spooky,Wendy,Dot and little lotta. Are these comics still published, because nowadays I do not see any of these comics in the book shops. I also loved the Mad Magazine ? How about you all?

the first i read was Funny Komiks, which is a Philippine publication for children. i also read archie, dennis the menace, richie rich, casper, hagar the horrible, etc. but my favorite is calvin and hobbes. i have a collection of the treasury books.

There is one more comic hero who I have forget to mention, that is Phantom, the ghost who walks, some how I have never read Calvin and hobbes. You are lucky,all my collections were,destroyed by various means.

i haven't read Phantom...i'm sorry to hear about your comic books...i still have some of mine, but my collection isn't complete anymore. i lent everything to friends and two of them were never returned.

I loved the old comic books too. Especially Archie, Richie Rich, and Casper. I know they still make Archie comic books, but I'm not sure about the others. I haven't seen them in years, so I am guessing they no longer publish them. What a nice reminder, thank you.

This is a real pleasure, hearing from somebody, who also loved the same comics, which I have read. Since you are in USA, and if you have not seen these comics in years, I also guess they would have stopped publishing. It is a loss for our children, who will not be able to read such good and clean comics. Thanks for responding.
