What's Your Favorite Christmas Quote

I love this one . . . it's just truth! "Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love." (Hamilton Wright Mabie) Or . . . "There has been only one Christmas--the rest are anniversaries." (W.J. Cameron) This one is just funny: "In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it 'Christmas' and went to church; the Jews called it 'Hanukkah' and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the street would say 'Merry Christmas!' or 'Happy Hanukkah!' or (to the atheists) 'Look out for that wall!'" (Dave Berry, "Christmas Shopping: A Survivor's Guide.") So do you have any wonderful or funny quotes to share? Merry Christmas everyone.

I love Dave Berry...and that quote brought a smile to my face. My favorite Christmas quote is from the Bible. It is Luke 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." This just really touches me everytime I read it.

I love that scripture also. Just read through Luke this week and you are right that verse does touch every part of us. Oh that every one would be touched by His peace. Very cool, my friend. Have an awesome Christmas season.
