What age did you put child into a bed from cot?

Mine were both around 18 months old. They were climbing out at that age and were ready to make the move.

We started the boys at 2 with a toddler bed then moved them to a big boy bed when they acted as if they were ready. ex: they didn't fall out of bed , they would go to the bed and get in while I was standing in the room or they would grab my hand when I told them it was bed time. Another way to tell if they are ready to go from toddler to big bed is when the turn the toddler bed on it's end adn use it as a ladder.

When you feel that your child can step down,if they fall from bed.

i put my daughter in a big girl bed, well actually a toddler bed when she was almost three years old.

To me its 2 and half years is the right age to put into a bed..

mine was almost 3, and u don't have to get a big bed, just a small child's bed till they r too big for that..
