what would be the cause of having moments with loss of hearing in one ear? i keep like having moments where i keep losing my hearing in one ear.. it can be either side and at any time.. its only happened a few times but since its happened more frequently in this year im kind of worried.. i will either lose total sound for like 30 seconds or i will have a muffle or ringing.. then it all comes back.. i havent had any problems ever with my ears before so its freaking me out.. its happened like 6 times this year where as before this year maybe 3 times my WHOLE life!! i have only have an ear ache like 1 time around the time of them but its been through out the year so i really dont think i kept an ear ache this whole time.. is this another freaky thing that fibromyalgia does or something else?? i never heard of anyone mentioning hearing problems.. and i have NO insurance period so doctors arent an option for a few months (even then maybe not) i will note that i HAVE had sinus problems BAD this year.. could that be causing it??

it may be because of sinus.some fluid may be temporarily blocking you ear or you might be having an infection.it seems ,you need to go to doctor for a ear checkup.

have you gone to the doctor to check this out? Losing hearing in the ear could be atributed to a whole host of things. Some of it could be pressure imbalance in the ears. This will cause the ear to close up cos or the little drum in there to stop working due to the pressure acting on it in the ear. Then there is the possibility of infection. Been anywhere to swim and did not dry your ears properly? Or is it a case of eating too much fried and baked foods that is causing some sort of infection. Better to see a doctor to check it out. Otherwise, you will never have peace of mind.
