We recently put in a humane dog fence to keep our dogs on our property after a run in with the neighbors cat. We live right next to the game lands so it is diaher that we keep our dogs onn our property and out of the woods. So we put in an electric fence. The older dog is suprising having the most problems with the fence. Our younger dog, Dozer, here's the beeps and turns right around without getting shocked. The older dog, Thor, keeps challenging the fence, and ends up getting shocked, then stays on the porch the rest of the day because he is scared. So I guess it is a work in progress, and hopefully we can get them trained soon.
Has anyone used a humane dog fence before? How did you train your dogs to stay on your property? Are younger dogs easier to train then older dogs?

nope, we tied our dog but only the naughtiest dog although both have vaccine. never train perhaps it was their instinct, we only train not to mess up with the cats. i guess it the youngest dog is much better especially when you want to train where to pee.
