I had been waiting for just about ever for the movie to come out. I knew that there would be changes like every movie you can't always put every detail of the book into the movie it would make the movie utterly too long and maybe a bit on the boring side. But I was hoping that they would keep true to the book. Well my hopes were dashed and bashed since that ove r90 % of the movie was nothing like the book .. I understand making it adaptable but this was done right riduculous. If I had never read the book and just went to see the movie I would have never bought the book or finished the series. I was also talking to my friend about this and she said she read an article where the Actress who played Isabella (Bella) Swan was so happy that the author let her make adaptations and changed things around so that she was comfortable and with it.. If some of these changes were due to the actress then the actress needs shot and killed. She ruined the movie. Fact of the matter is that I new there would be changes but when you see that 90% of the movie is not the book by no means it's kinda dissappointing and you wonder why they even title the movie after the book. ***SPOILER ALERT TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE AND WANT TO****** In one part of the book they it show that Edward purposely blocks Bella from leaving with her truck so that another student can ask her to the dance. The dance was not the prom and it was the sadie hawkens type dance where the girls are supposed to ask the guys. They redid it to be the prom. Her response to the all the guys that had asked her was she was going to port angeles but here they say it's prom and she is going to pheonix. another annoying factor is that becuase of the change of dances and what they said there they had to change the scene where he offers to take her to port angeles and then that changes the let me show you why we don't go out in the sun and makes it happen what behind the school in the mountains in a field. God I wanted to strangle myself. Then there is the fact that she didn't want Charlie to know that he brought her back from Port Angeles when she went dress shopping and got attacked and edward was supposed to drop her off home but they had him drop her off at Charlies police station and on top of it brought in bits and pieces of another book. Shakes head!!! I just thought is was horried that I left before the credits had time to take place. Don't get me wrong I stayed until the prom but that was the most wasted amount of money that I spent. grrrrr. So all of you who have read the book and then saw the movie how did you feel about it? If you saw the movie first would you go out and buy the book and read it?
